Driving

Flying
O’Hare International Airport (ORD) is located in Chicago, Ill., and Milwaukee Mitchell Field (MKE) are the recommended airports.
Attendees can rent a car at both airports or Uber, but the cost for Ubers from either airport may be expensive because of the distance involved. Transportation from the airport to Carthage College or other lodging accommodations is the responsibility of each attendee.
Bus
Schedules for bus services may not show the conference dates yet but will give you an idea of schedules and pricing. We suggest you check a week in advance of the conference to verify schedules and purchase any tickets at that time, since once tickets are purchased, they are nonrefundable.
- From Chicago O’Hare
There is no such service from Chicago O’Hare (ORD) airport directly to Carthage College, but Coach USA does operate a service between Chicago O’Hare and Milwaukee Mitchell Field with a Kenosha suburban stop at I-94/Highway 50. From there you can Uber to the conference site. When booking with Coach USA, enter origin as “O’Hare” and destination as “Kenosha Brat Stop”.
- From Milwaukee Mitchell Field
Participants using Milwaukee Mitchell Field (MKE) for their flights can use the Coach USA service from the airport directly to Carthage College.
Parking
If you are driving yourself to the conference and parking overnight, it is required that you fill out a parking form. Campus security will tow any car parked overnight that is not registered with a form. We ask that you fill out the form in advance to help avoid congestion during the registration process on campus. Conference parking is in lot P8.
Registration is from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30, in the Tarble Athletic Recreation Center, located near the Seibert Chapel. During registration you may park in Lot P7 for 15 minutes to receive conference materials (and dorm room assignments for on-campus registrations). If P7 is full, use P8. After registering (and placing luggage in dorm room), park in P8. A few golf carts will circulate to assist—especially after parking in P8.
