Several of Carthage’s residence halls have been reserved. During the registration process, you can choose the “on-campus” option. On-campus housing reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, especially in the air-conditioned dorms.

Those who wish to stay at a hotel may register as a commuter and make reservations at a local hotel. A block of rooms has been reserved at the Wyndham Garden Kenosha Harborside Hotel.

Transportation from the airport to Carthage College or other lodging accommodations is the responsibility of each attendee.

Those who are flying to the conference can reserve bus service from the airport. More information is available on the Transportation page.

Dress comfortably! Casual dress is acceptable. There is air conditioning in the presentation rooms and the chapel.

Yes, any special needs should be listed on your registration form so we can make the necessary arrangements.

If you need an accessible dorm room, please note that when registering.

Yes, we do plan to have official photographs taken for our records and for use in WELS publications. By registering for the conference, you grant us permission to use any video footage or photographs in which you may appear.

No. For some presentations, summary and supplementary materials will be given to attendees as part of their registration cost. But the filming of the presentations by attendees is not permitted.

Childcare will not be provided. Parents are responsible for making their own arrangements for their child’s supervision. Students may participate as part of the Children’s Choir or Honor Choir, or they may register as a regular participant at the student rate. Please note that presentations, dorm lodging, and cafeteria meals are part of the participant registration.

If you need to cancel your registration, you will receive 100% reimbursement if you make the request before April 30, 2024. From May 1-31, you will receive a 50% reimbursement. After that, we are locked into food and amenity costs and cannot offer reimbursement.

Once you are registered, you will receive an Auto-Receipt e-mail from Authorize.net with your payment information. Please keep this receipt for your records. No refunds will be processed without a receipt.

Individuals who register to attend both the WELS National Conference on Worship, Music, and the Arts and the WELS Women’s Ministry Conference will receive a rebate of $150 after attending both conferences. Attendees must register for both conferences separately.

When arriving onsite for each of the conferences, attendees will be checked into each conference. After both conferences have concluded, WELS will issue the individual a rebate if they qualify by attending both conferences.
