2027 marks the tenth WELS National Conference on Worship, Music, and the Arts. Attendance has grown since the first conference in 1996, and hundreds of people are expected to benefit from four days of worship, instruction, inspiration, and camaraderie. Interest in good worship continues in WELS, as does the need for solid theological creative perspectives.

This year’s theme is “Gifts from God: Christmas in June.” Services for December 2027 (Year C Advent and Christmas) will be modelled. Christian Worship service, hymn, and psalm resources will be used, and there will be instructions scalable for any size congregation with any mix of musical resources. We will present a new children’s Christmas service, and we will demonstrate how to do Lessons and Carols. In addition to the regular workshops, both Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary and Martin Luther College will be offering courses for credit.
